One of the lovely things about publishing books is that they are sometimes translated into other languages. Dragons are very popular in Japan, for instance, and I'm delighted to have my books in print over there, especially as they produce them with such wonderful covers.

This is what The Fire Within looks like in Japan. What a great picture of the dragon's den!

And here is the rough illustration for Icefire.
Note the bears looking at the Tooth of Ragnar.

The Japanese artist also put some fantastic illustrations inside the books. Here's Gruffen, sitting on his book of dragon procedures. Isn't he great?

This is the Japanese Fire Star. Nice, isn't it?
